Chapter I — First Touch
"Not sexy enough. Not strong enough. Not flexible enough."
Good. Neither were we.
Before anything else, we slow down. A gentle stretch sequence to wake up the muscles you didn't know you had — opening hips, lengthening the spine, easing tension. No performance yet. Just presence.
~30 minutesGrip. Weight. Spin. The fundamentals — taught with patience, without rush. You'll try moves that feel impossible and discover they're not. You'll feel strong in ways you haven't before.
~60 minutesA short, simple choreography built on what you just learned. Nothing rehearsed for months — something real, from this session, from this room. Your first pole moment. You take it with you.
~30 minutesUnfolding isn't for people who already know pole. It's for the ones who are curious but haven't found their entry. The ones who watched a video once and thought "I could never do that." This workshop exists to prove that thought wrong.
Kupu Kupu Pole Dance Studio · Kerobokan, Bali
Pole dancer, performer, and instructor based in Canggu. Solène discovered pole dance and gave it everything — not to compete, but to understand it deeply enough to transmit it well. She built her practice from the inside out, obsessing over what makes movement feel like something, so that every woman who walks in for the first time leaves feeling it too.
Unfolding is her first workshop series. First Touch is where it begins.
"I don't teach you pole. I give you back to yourself — the pole is just the tool."
